The lazer light is such a great idea truly helped me with my quilting I may have set it up wrong but found I could only use it sitting down behind the machine. Made a king size quilt that way, Did discover it could be used in the front and when I went to move it the *C* clip broke in half, Do hope I can replace the part, Did not find a spot to plug in the light in the front and the cord was too short to come from the back unless I am missing something. Look forward to replaceing the part and working some more with it.
I'm brand new to longarm quilting. Recently purchased Qnique 15r and I love it. Since I don't have the freearm rhythm down I purchased this Laser Stylus and the Read Handles so I could use pantographs. It works great! I'm practicing and getting better, however I find my arm gets in the way of the laser as I'm moving down the frame. I'm wondering...is there an extender available to move the laser out away from the machine a little?
I have been doing pantographs on my Qnique. The c-clip broke so it is not stable anymore. It is hard attached to the light so I am suspecting I have to buy the light all over again. Not happy about that. I see it has happened to others.
Got my laser. Instructions show how to attach to a 15 but nothing references attaching to the 16X or any videos to attach the the frame instead of the handle bars to follow a pattern beside your machine but will keep playing. Trial and error wins every time.
For the price, I wish it was more than a cheap plastic that looks like it will break. I’m afraid to remove it from my handle bars to the frame.
