What Is QuiltMotion X for Longarm Machines?
QuiltMotion X is the newest generation of Grace Company quilting automation for longarm machines. It gives you a guided way to take a design from your screen to your quilt with a simple three-step process: Pick. Place. Quilt.

Place it in your quilting zone
- QuiltMotion X gives you a digital view of your actual quilting space, allowing you to see where your design will land before you stitch.
Quilt it
- When everything looks right, tap start and QuiltMotion X stitches the design while guiding you through the process.
Whether you're quilting an edge-to-edge design, placing a block, or creating a more customized layout, the goal is the same: make automated quilting feel approachable.
Do I Have to Upgrade From QCT?
No. If you currently use QCT, you are not required to upgrade to QuiltMotion X. QCT has been an important part of automated quilting for years, and we will continue to provide support for QCT users. QuiltMotion X is simply our newest generation of quilting automation, giving quilters another option for how they want to approach their projects. If you love your current QCT setup, you can continue using it. But if you’ve been curious about what’s next, we’ve created a way for QCT owners to make the transition easier.
QCT Owners Can Get $2,000 Toward QuiltMotion X
