We’ll begin this Quilter’s Playground session with Needle Little Help, our 30-minute Q&A segment focused on downloading quilting designs, choosing the right file formats, and loading designs into QMX and QCT. If you’ve ever wondered which file to use, where designs should live on your computer, or how to get them into your quilting software without frustration, this segment will set you up for success.
Then, we’ll dive into one of our most exciting creative tools: Picture Stitcher.
Picture Stitcher opens the door to a whole new level of creative quilting by transforming images into stitchable designs. In this session, we’ll show you how to take photos, artwork, or graphics and turn them into quilting designs you can actually stitch—perfect for memory quilts, personalized projects, artistic pieces, and more.
We’ll walk through how Picture Stitcher works, share tips for choosing and preparing images, and demonstrate how this program fits seamlessly into your quilting workflow. Whether you’re curious about using photos, creating custom designs, or simply want to explore new creative possibilities, this segment will spark inspiration and confidence.

Our instructors will walk you through common quilting feet, what each one is designed to do, and when to switch feet based on your quilting goals. We’ll cover how foot choice affects visibility, control, stitch formation, and fabric movement — plus how the right foot can help reduce drag, improve accuracy, and boost confidence when trying new techniques. You’ll learn practical, real-world applications for each foot type and how to choose the right one before you start quilting. And as always, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions live and get personalized help for your quilting setup and projects.
