Quilting is a creative outlet where rules don’t apply, where imagination is key and where a plain piece of fabric can become an extraordinary piece of art. I am a first generation quilter so I am completely self-taught with the help of books YouTube and lots of trial and error. I was an artist before I was a quilter so I get to bring a lot of my art background into the art and custom quilting that I do now and they both mingle very well together. Quilting is amazing because there is no exact way to do anything and you can always find art in every quilt. I quilt for the moments of calm in a busy busy life. I quilt for the creative joy of eye catching colors and shapes.
