Why Online Events and What’s Next?

In 2020, like all in-person events, quilt shows ceased to exist in what felt like a moment. Quilt Shows were one of the most significant branches of the Grace Company to connect with quilters. 

These are the places they would meet and engage with fellow quilters, build relationships, teach classes, and sell products. So the question became— “what are we going to do about it?”  

And just like that, our annual online Quilt Festivals were born. 

Online festivals quickly became the way we could share conversations and quilting education with our audience. The best part is we can offer these events completely FREE.

Our goal is to offer Home-Based Quilters a sense of belonging and opportunity with this community events platform. Gentleman of Grace 

In the second annual Gentleman of Grace competition, three contestants nominated from the eight departments will compete for the title of Mr. Grace 2023. The three contestants must show that they embody Quality (Skills), Value (Knowledge), and Innovation (Creativity) in order to show that they provide the best Grace Experience and deserve to represent the company as Mr. Grace 2023. They will compete in three events over the course of the hour, and the winner will be determined based on their performance and audience vote.

Summer Camp 

When Summer Camp was created, the goal was to create a SMALLER festival, with FUN THEMING that focused on SKILLS rather than projects. This year we plan to continue that tradition. Whereas last year's event took place in the mountains in a Parent Trap-esque Summer Camp, this year, we are hosting camp on the islands. In a nod to classic summer reality shows, this year will be all about SURVIVAL.
